Is your little one a lover of apple and banana? Or you are yet to discover if he/she does? If so, please, don’t waste time. You might also consider introducing it to your baby for the first time. It is one of those yummy purees that almost all babies love eating. My baby wants it almost on a daily basis.
Apple-banana puree is also a good option for first-time solid food for your baby. I know that many people may be asking how do I know if my baby likes the new food? The answer is simple. As a rule of thumb, to know if your baby likes the new food, try it for about three to four days to check the tolerance level before continuing. In the case where your baby shows some allergy, discontinue it immediately as he/she may not have the capacity yet to tolerate it and try again after a period of time.
If you are like me, you might find it confusing at times what variety of food to choose from for your little one. Keep in mind that the goal is to gradually incorporate the six classes of food into your baby’s diet to provide them with all the nutrients they need for their daily growth. So, in order not to forget, you could write down your baby’s eating plan to ensure that you do not miss out on any classes of food that your baby needs.
